Residents are worried TxDOT might accidentally turn our residential road into a COTA West!
Overnight traffic traveling RM 1826 north of SH 45 is minimal to clear until dawn hours. We already see and hear aggressively fast driving on 1826.
-- We want TxDOT and local leaders' help to slow the traffic down for residents' and drivers' safety instead of building the perfect set of nighttime short tracks with these Loons up and down our road! --
45 mph is in the proposed road project for a 5 lane divided highway. Why is our 2 lane residential road faster at 50 mph?
We do not want to be the beta-testers of this potentially dangerous and life-altering road feature for our residents! Right-turns only and wa$ted driving time to double back from after u-turning across traffic lanes for the rest of our lives here??
This proposed road project with restricted left turns and u-turn Loons must be stopped.

Has the U-Turn Loon feature been thoroughly vetted against these new safety threats?
